PROJECT OVERVIEW
The works involved the removal of the existing roof coverings, the upgrading of insulation and installation of new composite roofing slates. To add to the sustainability of the building an integrated solar scheme was installed to the south facing elevation. Remedial repair works to the fascia, soffits and guttering was also included.
Part of the town hall is used as a nursery, therefore the entire project needed to start and finish within the 6 week school holiday timeframe.
Working closely with the contract administrator, client and all internal stakeholders, the project was successfully completed on time and within budget.
