Sheet metal roofing is an ancient craft employed by many civilisations since antiquity, including the Romans, who used both lead and copper as roofing materials. Soft and hard metals are indisputably some of the greatest building materials ever used to cover the roofs of cathedrals, churches, public buildings, offices and houses.
